Our MISSION

We aim to provide you with great advice on getting started and to get the best out of your guitar or bass tone, whether you are practicing, recording or performing through plugins and digital audio software suites.

Doing unbiased reviews of guitar and bass related software will be a central part of this. But we will also make other types of content to help beginners and experienced users to make it easier to find all the wonderful software that is out there, guides and tutorials on different topics, interviews with other users and so on to educate and amuse.

We are all for community and collaboration. In order to provide good content we also welcome guest writers to contribute articles for the site. If you are interested don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Unbiased reviews vs paid online marketing

We do this for fun and for a love of playing guitar/bass and using amp sims and related software, not to earn our daily bread. So we will never take monetary compensation for reviews, endorsements or any other content on the site.

When we get a review license for a piece of software we will be clear with this in the review, but also make sure the developer understands that we will still give our unbiased view of the product and that it in no way lets them dictate the contents of the review.

We might occasionally get the chance to beta-test software. If so we will give the developer our opinions of the beta to help them improve upon it. When we review a piece of software that someone on the team has beta-tested we will be clear about it in the review.
